Apples & Honey!
It's been a busy week navigating baking, children and the High Holidays. For us, this is a time to take a deep breath, make amends and see what we would like to bring into the new year, and what we would like to leave behind. The Jewish holidays are deeply connected with food. For Rosh Hashanah we bake sweet round Challah (we have a few Love Boules left if you need a delicious gluten-free option). Another wonderful tradition - and a fabulously healthy snack - is to dip apples in honey. The apple represents both the earth and the year, and we hope that it will be sweet for all of us!
