Train Cars Coffee & Kava Celebrates One Year 

When you travel the Peak to Peak Highway, it’s hard to miss the iconic set of three train cars sitting in the middle of Nederland. Converted into a cafe, this landmark has been a local fixture since the early 1980s. In 2022 Train Cars was purchased by longtime employee Jesse Fox and underwent its next stage in transformation. Keeping to the tradition of offering locally roasted coffee and a variety of delectable menu items, Fox also added a full kava menu and a stacked roster of music events.

Whether you are there for the building itself, the refreshing beverages, the hefty sandwiches, or the different musical events, there’s something for everyone! Working with local businesses to provide top-quality products has been a longtime tradition at the Train Cars. In its current iteration Train Cars
Coffee & Kava is delighted to add Hävenly Baked Goods to its growing list of suppliers, alongside great providers such as Creekside Coffee Roasters, Root Kava Co, Wondervu Cafe, and Jen’s Cafe Bars. You can now enjoy your sandwich on a Hävenly Morning Oat Bun! 

Be sure to join Train Cars Coffee & Kava on September 9th, 2023 as they celebrate their first year as Train Cars Coffee & Kava! The Peak Vibes Music Festival will take place in Nederland from 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 a.m. Eleven musical acts will grace the Trains in this free event that will donate 25% of its donations to the Nederland Food Pantry!
