I’m writing to you from Denver International Airport, on my way to Poland to honor my beloved grandmother, Babci Lunia Stahl.

A book is being published about how she survived the Holocaust against all odds, and I’m traveling to Poland to be part of this very special moment to honor her incredible story. If all goes according to plan, I’ll be back home in time for Rosh Hashanah—the Jewish New Year!

Rosh Hashanah is a beautiful holiday deeply connected with food and tradition. We gather around the table, dip apples and round challah in honey, and welcome the new year with wishes for sweetness, health, and happiness. This year, we invite you to make Hävenly Oat Challah—or Oat Raisin Challah—a part of your Rosh Hashanah table.

NEW: This year we offer two pick-up options

• Congregation Rodef Shalom in Denver on Thursday, September 10 from 1-4 pm.

• Hävenly Bakery on Thursday, September 10 from 1-4 pm, or Friday, September 12 from 9 am - 5 pm.

Please be sure to place your order by 9 a.m. on Tuesday, September 9, for shipping next week. You can place it in your freezer and take it out for the High Holidays.

Friendly reminder to place your Hävenly order 

for pickup at our bakery Tuesday through Friday next week! We will be closed on Labor Day. Pick-up is from 2 pm until 4 pm Tuesday - Thursday, and 2-5 pm Friday. Need to stop by after hours?
